Trevor Noah
Ex-Daily Show. 13M IG. Born a Crime.
South African comedian and host Trevor Noah grew up in Johannesburg under apartheid, a childhood he recounted in Born a Crime, a bestseller translated into many languages. After establishing himself at home, he took over The Daily Show in the United States in 2015 and hosted it for seven years before returning to worldwide stand-up tours and Netflix specials. A repeat host of the Grammy Awards ceremony, he supports education for young South Africans through his foundation and remains one of the most widely followed commentators on world affairs.
He translates the world's divisions into a language shared by millions and reinvests his fame in education in South Africa.
