Luiza H. Trajano
Icône du retail brésilien. Entrepreneuriat féminin.
Luiza Helena Trajano started out as a teenager in her family's store in Franca, in the state of São Paulo, and turned Magazine Luiza from a small provincial retailer into one of Brazil's largest retail groups, with more than a thousand stores and a leading e-commerce platform. Known for her hands-on management and strong company culture, she stepped back from day-to-day leadership to chair the board of a company now run by her son Frederico. She founded Mulheres do Brasil, a movement of more than a hundred thousand women, and is one of the most respected business voices in Latin America.
Beyond her commercial success, she has made social engagement, for women and diversity, a natural extension of her leadership.
