Lewis Hamilton
7x champion F1. Activiste équité et climat.
Seven-time Formula 1 world champion, a record he shares with Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton holds the most race wins and pole positions in the sport's history. The first Black driver in Formula 1, he joined Ferrari in 2025 after more than a decade with Mercedes. He created the Hamilton Commission to improve Black representation in British motorsport, then founded Mission 44, a charity supporting young people from under-represented backgrounds. Knighted in 2021, he also campaigns for a more sustainable and inclusive motorsport.
He has used a dominant position in a closed sport to open its doors, through concrete, funded programmes, while remaining a global sporting figure.
