Leaders' Networks in Paris: Where Decision-Makers Meet in 2026

Clubs, forums, circles and associations: the practical guide to the places where Paris leaders exchange with peers, with their entry criteria.

WLS Editorial

Paris concentrates the headquarters of most French groups, the ministries, the main NGOs and a growing share of Europe's technology founders. It is also a city where leaders' circles have long been discreet. For a chief executive, an elected official or a foundation director who wants to exchange with peers, here is where the conversations actually happen, and what it takes to get in.

The progress clubs

APM clubs meet monthly across the Paris region, each with about twenty company heads and an outside expert. The Centre des Jeunes Dirigeants has several Paris sections for leaders still building their companies. Both are associations run by their members, with membership open to company leaders who accept the commitment of monthly attendance.

The international chapters

YPO has chapters in Paris, EO has its French chapter, and Vistage runs chair-led peer groups in the capital. They give access, in French, to global communities of chief executives, with the criteria of the parent organisations: company thresholds and, for YPO, entry before 45.

The circles of influence

Le Siècle and the private clubs of the Faubourg Saint-Honoré belong to a different logic: co-optation, dinners, belonging. They are not places for a working method but for encounters between the worlds of business, politics and administration. Access comes through members, not through an application form.

The thematic communities

The Women's Forum, the Galion Project for technology founders, the alumni networks of the grandes écoles and the sector federations offer a Paris leader a tribe for every subject. Their limit is structural: each gathers people who already resemble each other.

What was missing

Paris had rooms for company heads, rooms for elected officials, rooms for the third sector, and dinners where they cross paths. It did not have a working forum where they sit as peers, under rules of confidentiality, to think about the decisions that involve all three. That is the gap the World Leaders Society was founded to fill in 2025.

The World Leaders Society in Paris

The association is based in Paris and holds its founding events there: confidential peer forums of eight to twelve members mixing business leaders, elected officials and senior public officers, and civil-society figures; prestige lunches with guests of honour; an annual summit. Admission is by application with two recommendations, reviewed by an independent committee, with no age limit. Fifty inaugural seats are open for 2026, and the association publishes the WLS 100, the editorial selection of the hundred leaders shaping the century. For a leader in Paris who has outgrown rooms full of people like them, it is the address.

In Paris everyone has a circle. The rare thing is a circle that is not a mirror.WLS Editorial
