Data collected

We collect only data you voluntarily submit: application (name, email, title, organization, revenue, headcount, sponsors, motivation), contact (name, email, organization, message), WLS 100 nomination (nominee and nominator information), newsletter subscription (email).

Purposes

Your data is used exclusively to: process your application, respond to your messages, evaluate WLS 100 nominations, send newsletters you subscribed to. No data is transmitted to third parties for commercial purposes.

Members area

The members area (/membres) is reserved for members. It processes the data needed to run the association: identity, role, organisation, city, country, bio and LinkedIn link (directory profile, visible to other members according to your settings), event registrations and the documents made available. Sign-in works through a link sent by email, without a password. Legal basis: performance of the membership agreement and the association's legitimate interest. Retention: duration of the membership, then 3 years. Data is hosted in France (OVH) and is not shared with any third party.

Retention period

Rejected applications: 12 months. Accepted applications: duration of membership + 5 years. Contacts: 3 years. Newsletter: until unsubscription.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR and French data protection law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, object, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, write to contact@worldleaderssociety.org. You may also lodge a complaint with the French CNIL (cnil.fr).

Cookies

This site uses only local preferences (language) stored in your browser. No third-party tracking cookies are placed. For signed-in members, a strictly necessary session cookie (wls_session, 30 days) and a sign-in marker (wls_in) are used; they require no consent and are not used for tracking.
